Hetalia: Ti amo, Antonio

Antonio sat on the couch looking out the window.  He wasn’t sure what he was looking at, but none the less, it made him smile.  Next to him on the couch laid a man with one curl off the top of his head.  He looked angry as he slept and the curl bobbed up and down with each breath.  Happiness bubbled inside him as he watched the boy.  Then, Antonio reached out a hand and placed it on the sleeping boy’s side.  Smiling again, he turned and looked back out the window.

As time passed, Antonio found it hard to keep his eyes open.  Leisurely they started to close, and Antonio fell against the arm rest of the couch.  Sleeping, just like the boy.

Quietly Romano sat up and stared at the sleeping Latino’s face.  Damn that bastard, he was smiling even as he slept!  What the hell could he be dreaming about that left such a grin?!

Confused, Romano look closer and then, his brain pushed him to do something he never, ever would do.  He leaned even closer and kissed Antonio on the lips.  Blushing, he quickly sat up and looked away, but a hand had wrapped it’s self around his waist and pulled him back toward Antonio where another waited to wrap it’s self around the boy too.  Flustered, Romano tried to get away; still the arms were fastened around his waist and upper torso.

Hastily, before his pray could get away, Antonio kissed Romano again, before leaning down and whispering, “Te amo, Romano,” in his ear.

Romano jumped at the words and head butted Antonio before he took off running.  Only he ran around the corner and stopped, speaking softly, “Ti amo, Antonio.”
